Government Institutions

Every education provider that recruits, enrols or teaches international students, must be registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS). This applies to each course regardless of State. CRICOS lists all providers registered to offer courses to those on student visas, and the courses offered. The Western Australian Parliament has also enacted separate legislation that enforces the obligations on education providers to meet stringent codes of conduct in order to be officially registered to promote to, and enrol, overseas students.
